Pamela hails from Laguna Beach, CA but moved to Texas as fast as she could. Growing up on a Texas Horse Ranch instilled a lifelong passion for the western lifestyle culminated in her award winning television series “Wild About Barns.”
A journalism graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Pamela spent her 20s working in television news before traveling the world producing travel documentaries for The Travel Channel. Thailand remains her favorite country!
With the birth of her daughter Jordan Nicole and wanting to have a flexible work life, Pamela started her own production company, PK Works! in the early 90s, producing TV documentaries, corporate events and LIVE entertainment for clients worldwide. PK Works! will celebrate its 25th year in business in 2017.
Pamela is an independent thinker with a flair for great storytelling. Recently she worked with National Geographic photographer Jay Dickman in Dubois, WY capturing daily life at the CM Ranch, a cattle/dude ranch in the high mountain desert.
A wicked sense of humor and a keen eye for great “moments”, Pamela loves meeting new people and telling their stories. When not on the road, she enjoys a rich life with her husband Dave on their 70-acre Red Hawk Ranch raising horses, hosting horse shows, cow clinics and youth sports activities.
Blending three teenage daughters into a coherent family was her most challenging endeavor and the most rewarding. Her nickname “PamZilla” says it all -- thankfully, its now a term of endearment.
